We called and friends and families came together tonight in 2 locations (and many at home) to intercede and persevere in prayer. Some of us met in the chapel at the hospital and a group met at the Oaks Baptist Church in Grand Prairie. It was awesome. Here is what we prayed for and ask that you continue to join us in prayer for.
-That first and foremost, through all of this, Christ's name would be made great and that He would be glorifed
-Praise God for all of the details that He has worked to bring us to where we are at
-Praise God that Phil is currently stable
-Phil's healing and restoration
-His surgeons, Dr. Levy, Dr. Ruiz, Dr. Koji, Dr. Houston and all medical staff for their salvation and wisdom/discernment, rest, energy, endurance
-Fellow people we have met in the ICU waiting room, Ruth, Judy- her sister, that we may be Christ to them and love on them
-Judy, another lady on the transplant list who is currently here for complications
-a teenage boy who is in ICU
-donor's families (now this is 2) who are grieving, for their peace and salavation
-weather would be optimal for jet to fly
It was a true blessing to be surrounding by the body of Christ and to join together in interceding on behalf of our brother, Phil. We have a true peace that God is working in many ways through this. We continue to pray that the gospel would be proclaimed. We thank all of you for being here for us and surrounding us during this time and praying for us wherever you are.
