Dialysis Off!!

Kristin and I just went back to see Dad and there was this dialysis machine in the hall. We looked at each other and did a double take and were like, "Is that a dialysis machine in the hall?" Then we were like, "Is that room #9?" Low and behold it was. They just took dad off dialysis. We are going to watch his blood pressure and make sure now that it doesn't go too high. They are going to recheck his labs at 2AM to see how his kidneys are doing and see if they can keep the dialysis off. Yea!!

His nurse is so funny and sweet. She just turned the TV on. We turned it to Jay Leno so he at least had something to listen to.

Please, please keep praying. We are not out of the woods with this current liver. It is still teetering and could go in either direction. Please pray for it to kick in and start working. It is still the clotting function that isn't working.

They are still planning to try and take him off the ventilator tomorrow.

Please pray for Phil as he wakes up that God would surround him with His perfect peace and that he would not be anxious or afraid. Please pray against bitterness or anger or fear.

2 Timothy 1:7, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear or timidity, but of power, of love, and a sound mind."

Isaiah 26:3-4,"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock."
