Night Shift Update

So I have been staying and checking on Phil during the night shift. I just went and saw him and he is doing really well. I had a good conversation with his nurse, Byron, who is awesome. His urine output has improved significantly. His heart rate is lower which is good. His blood pressure continues to improve and they are decreasing the blood pressure medications. Byron is going to try and have him off one of the blood pressure medications by morning so all that will be left is the Vasopressin- only one blood pressure medication. Yea!! He is on a very small dose of it too. Byron said his liver enzymes are actually coming down and his clotting is improving. This is good news because his body is recovering some and will be better for another surgery. Please pray against infection as that is what can start to affect people when they have the many tubes, wires, and catheters in them. Pray that his body will fight off the bad bugs but not reject his liver. I told Phil what was going on and about our time tonight praying. I also prayed and sang the Restoration song over him.
