Praise God!! The surgery is almost over!!

Praise God!! Dr. Ruiz came in at 9AM and said that everything went well. The other doctors are still in the OR sewing him up and should be done at 9:30AM. They will then transfer him to the ICU and we should get to see him at 10:30AM. We are so thankful to God for how unbelievably smooth this has gone, every step of it. We still feel like we are living in a dream- it is so surreal!!! Please continue to pray that Phil's body will accept the liver as his own and will not reject the new one. Pray specifically for good blood flow to the liver. Please continue to pray for our friend Judy. We continue to have more conversations with her as she is awaiting a liver. If all continues to go well, he will be in the ICU for 24 hours and then back to the transplant unit. Thank you again for your continued prayers!! Praise God!!
