The Kids, and a little bit about us.
Justin is Phil's oldest child. He is 26 and has been married to Melanie for 3 1/2 years and they have a fish named Mel. Justin works for Alpheus Communications where he manages data centers. They live in downtown Dallas. Melanie is in her fourth year of medical school at UT Southwestern. She will start her residency in Internal Medicine in July. They enjoy spending time with their home group and working with the kids at Cornerstone Crossroads Academy. Justin is helping the kids build a robot for an upcoming national robotics competition.
Kristin is Phil's daughter. She is 21 and lives in Nashville, Tennessee, where she is a Junior at Belmont University. She is majoring in Sociology and has a passion for working with different cultures in the US and abroad. Kristin is currently has an internship with Barefoot Republic (google it). She enjoys living life along side her church family and coaching soccer for a city league in Nashville.
Phil and Beth have been married for 29 years and live in Duncanville, Texas. Phil is on staff at The Oaks Baptist Church. Beth is a special education teacher at Duncanville High School. They are passionate about missions and their family. The day before his transplant, Phil was helping Justin build the robot with the kids at Crossroads.
